Built from the streets of Kathmandu
Sishakalam — meaning "learning ink" in Nepali — started when our founders noticed a stark gap: talented educators in Nepal lacked a reliable platform to reach students, while students struggled to find quality, affordable instruction outside of Kathmandu's expensive coaching centers.
We started small — a handful of teachers, a dozen courses, and a big dream. Today, we serve over 10,000 students across Nepal and the Nepali diaspora worldwide, with courses spanning engineering, business, design, language, and more.
Our mission: Democratize access to world-class education for every Nepali, regardless of geography or income.
